By foot/bike

You can reach us by the footpath alongside the A4260/Banbury road, coming northwards from Kidlington. Alternatively bikes and pedestrians are welcome users of the towpath alongside the Oxford Canal, which connects us again to Kidlington and other local villages including Tackley, Bletchingdon and Kirtlington.

 

By bus

The local bus network is the S4, by Stagecoach. This route enables easy travel from Oxford and Banbury. Find the updated timetable here.

 

By car

Shipton-on-Cherwell is off the A4260, 3 miles north of Kidlington. As you enter the village follow the road around a sharp bend to the left. Once in the village, the hall is the second turning on the left just after Birchwood Drive.

 

The closest petrol and diesel station is at Sainsbury's in Kidlington.

 

The closest public and paid EV charging spaces is at Tesco's car parking, behind the high street in Kidlington.

 

By train
